The equipment used in modern concrete mixing plants has a decisive influence on the economic success of construction projects and on the quality of precast concrete parts and products. In order to be able to produce concrete types with specific properties, concrete plants require high-quality and flexibly adaptable mixing systems. Thanks to their modular design, the individual components of a mixing plant can be tailored precisely to the individual requirements of the customer. In addition to the concrete mixer itself, all other plant components – from conveyor systems, dosing systems and measuring probes to drive motors and electronic controls – are also state-of-theart. Only with these highly developed systems is it possible to reliably produce high-performance concrete and significantly increase production efficiency. The article provides an overview of new concrete mixing plants in use.
