Da zwischen einer bewitterten Balkonplatte und einer üblichen WU-Betonkonstruktion im erdberührten Kellerbereich Unterschiede existieren, gelten für Balkonplatten angepasste Anforderungen. Wichtig für die Tragfähigkeit, Dauerhaftigkeit und Gebrauchstauglichkeit der Beton-Balkonplatte sind die Betonqualität, die Minimierung der Rissbildung und mit Abstrichen die Abdichtung der Durchführung des Regenfallrohrs und der Fuge zur Außenwand sowie die richtige Auswahl der Abstandhalter. Balkonplatten aus Stahlbeton sind, wenn sie „über Kopf“ gefertigt werden und damit die gesamte Profilierung bereits im Werk erhalten, ohne zusätzliche Abdichtung bestens für ihren Einsatzzweck geeignet und haben sich bewährt.

Balcony slabs made of reinforced concrete, if they are manufactured “overhead” and thus receive the entire profiling already in the factory without additional sealing, are best suited for their purpose and have proven themselves.
