Monolithische Profile hergestellt in Gleitschalungstechnik
Vorteile und Anwendungsmöglichkeiten im Tief- und Straßenbau
Borsch, Pascal
Monolithic profiles produced in slip-form technology
With the slip-form construction the advantages of concrete as a building material can be combined with innovative machine technology. Concrete has been used successfully for many decades for the production of durable components. By using it in the field of slip-form construction for the production of simple edge beams, on-board gutter systems, concrete safety barriers and more complex special profiles, joint proportions can be reduced and the durability of the overall construction considerably improved. Cost-intensive maintenance and care work on the construction is almost completely eliminated. The use of modern slip-form pavers enables high daily production rates to be achieved. This leads to a reduction in the execution time, which reduces traffic disruptions by shortening the blocking and diversion times and has a positive effect on roadway availability. Due to the wide range of possible applications, the use of slip-form construction is possible for a large number of construction projects in the area of country and federal roads as well as motorways, parks and rest areas. But there is also considerable application potential in the area of rural roads and parks. The production of monolithic profiles using sliding formwork technology, which is the subject of the article, provides a construction method that offers a fast, durable, economical and, last but not least, sustainable alternative to conventional construction methods.
