Für die kombinierte Verwendung von Luftporenbildner und Fließmittel gibt es bisher keine Empfehlung für eine erweiterte Erstprüfung. Durch praxisgerechte Prüfungen im Vorfeld unter Einbeziehung baupraktischer Bedingungen könnten Fehlentwicklungen frühzeitig erkannt werden. In einem Forschungsvorhaben wurde daher überprüft, ob die bei LP-Betonen ohne Fließmittel (steife Konsistenz) gefundenen Zusammenhänge zwischen Mischzeit, Wirkstoffbasis und Zugabemenge des LP-Bildners auf das Nachaktivierungspotenzial auch bei LP-Betonen mit Fließmittel erhalten bleiben. Dabei wurde u.a. auch der Einfluss der Zugabe-Reihenfolge von LP und FM untersucht. Die Untersuchungen lieferten grundlegende Erkenntnisse zu den Wirkungsmechanismen der Luftporenbildung bei der kombinierten Verwendung von LP-Bildnern und Fließmitteln bei der Herstellung im Labor und in der Praxis sowie während des Transports. Die Versuche zeigten, dass bisher gängige Vorgehensweisen bei LP-Beton ohne Fließmittel auch für LP-Betone mit Fließmittel einsetzbar und auf Praxisverhältnisse übertragbar sind.
Extended preliminary testing of air-entrained concrete containing superplasticizers with respect to practical construction conditions, Part 1
There have so far been no recommendations for extended preliminary testing of the combined use of air-entraining agents and superplasticizers. Abnormal developments could be detected at an early stage by practical tests that are carried out in advance and involve practical construction conditions. A research project was therefore carried out to check whether the relationships between mixing time, active substance basis and quantity of air-entraining agent added and the re-activation potential that were found with air-entrained concrete without any superplasticizer (stiff consistency) are retained in air-entrained concretes containing superplasticizers. The influence of the sequence in which the air-entraining agent and superplasticizer are added was also examined. The investigations provided essential findings into the action mechanisms of air void formation during the combined use of air-entraining agents and superplasticizers during production in the laboratory and in practice as well as during transport. The tests showed that previously established procedures for air-entrained concrete without superplasticizer can also be used for air-entrained concretes with superplasticizers and are applicable to practical conditions.
